The second annual Seymour Spring Thaw scheduled for Saturday April 9 has been cancelled due to excessive wet weather.
The first weekly, Sunday night points race will be Sunday, May 1 at 5 p.m. All Sunday races in the month of May will start at 5 p.m., with the normal 6 p.m. start time going into effect beginning in the month of June. “With school still in session, we’d like to get done by 8:30 to 9 p.m. at the very latest in May,” said NEW DIRT club president Dave “Cosmo” Rihm.
IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods, street stocks and sport fours will compete weekly on the high banked, third-mile clay oval.
The Summer Holiday Classic series will feature the WDLMA style late models on May 29, July 3 and September 4. Seymour Speedway is located 15 minutes west of Green Bay off of state highway 54 at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds
