BSCT set to invade Seymour

Seymour, July 15- The first event in the Badger Stock Car Tour is set to take the 1/3 mile banked clay oval at the Seymour Speedway in 2 days, Wednesday July 17.
 
A field of over 50 cars are expected to compete in the first leg of the 3 day series, and with over 40 cars pre entered, that number could easily be surpassed.
 
The event will feature a complete program topped by a 30 lap feature which will pay the winner $700. The Seymour Speedway boasts three and four wide racing on a regular basis and should be up to the challenge Wednesday night.
 
The series will continue at the ThunderHill Speedway in Sturgeon Bay on Thursday night, and close on Friday night at the Speedzone in Oshkosh along with the Badger Mod Tour.
 
The IMCA Sport Mods will also be on the big program. They will compete to get into the 20 lap main with a top prize of $350.  This in not a sanctioned race but will follow all rules except the claim. 
 
The pit will open at 4:30 with Sport Mod draw closing at 6:15. The Badger Tour draw cut off is 6:30. All pit passes are $25. Racing starts at 7 PM…SHARP!

The grandstand will open at 5 PM.  Regular admission prices will be in effect for this special event. Adults $10,  Seniors 55 and up- Students 13-18 $8, Kids 12 and under FREE with an adult.
 
The drivers must compete in all three events to qualify for a special series point fund, which makes Seymour a key race.
 
The Stock Car series has been a much anticipated series and the drivers are set to showcase their talents and the Seymour Speedway is just the right venue for a truly competitive event.
