Special July 3 – At its recent board meeting, N.E.W. DIRT officers Voted to change the lineup of the regular Sunday night racing programs at the Seymour Speedway.
Beginning this week, July 7, the FASTRACK Late Models will no longer be part of the weekly programs. The Late Models will still compete in the Holiday Classic Series as it has in the past under the WDLMA banner, which has provisions for all sanctioning bodies to compete in their rules.
Club President, Tom Schmidt, indicated it was strickly a business decision and did not offer any specific details.
So starting this week, the weekly lineup will feature the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.
There will also information released at the track this week of interest to all drivers competing on the 1/3 mile banked clay oval.
Pit gates open at 3 PM with the driver entry cut off time at 5 PM. Grandstand opens at 4 PM with racing starting at 6 PM…SHARP!
