Racing returns Sunday August 4 to Seymour Speedway

Seymour July 30- Racing action returns to the Seymour Speedway this Sunday, August 4, with the Badger Mod Tour as the headliner.  The series makes their first ever appearance at the 1/3 mile banked clay oval and will be joined by the Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders.

The Badger Mod Tour has boasted average fields of 48 cars this season and with the modifieds familiar with the track, a strong field should be on hand for the evening, topped by a 30 lap feature.     Being a Mod Tour event, there will be no track or IMCA points awarded Sunday.

The other four weekly divisions will also return to action with full sanctioned, point programs.

The track welcomes Kelsey Coatings of Green Bay and 1st Choice  Auto as the nights sponsors.     They will also host the Kids Club activities with a Bike Give Away and a Coin Toss.

The pit will open at 3 PM with the Mod Tour draw cut off at 5:30.   Pit passes are $25. 

The regular divisions will be lined up by average and late sign in is 5 PM.  Regular pit admission will be charged.

The grandstand opens at 4 PM.  Special event pricing will be Adults $15.  Seniors 55 plus and students 13-18 $10.  Kids 12 and under FREE with and adult.

A full action packed night this Sunday night at the Seymour Speedway that you will not want to miss.


No Racing this week at Seymour Speedway

Seymour, July 24- A reminder that there will be NO racing this Sunday, July 28 at the Seymour Speedway due to the Outagamie County Fair.

Come on out to enjoy all the activities at the Fair and make plans to return to racing action, when the Badger Mod Tour joins the other 4 regular divisions on Sunday night, August 4.

The weekly Budweiser IMCA Modifieds will not be running, but the BMT will be in full swing. There will be no IMCA or track point for the Mods that night.

The Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders will be running the full regular, sanctioned and track point programs.

All this racing action sponsored by long time track supporter, Kelsey Coatings of Green Bay and 1st Choice Auto. They will also host a bike give away and a Coin Toss for the kids.

The pit will open at 3 PM on the 4th with the draw cut off for the Mod Tour at 5:30.

All other divisions will be using regular average system with the cut off at 5 PM.

Racing will start at 6 PM SHARP and the evening will be topped with a 30 lap BMT feature.

This will kick off the final month of racing for 2013 at the Seymour Speedway.

Following the BMT Special, August 11 will be Kids Night when the local Fire and Rescue departments will be on display for the kids of all ages to get a close up look and ask questions about the services they supply to all local communities.

Van’s Highway Auto will sponsor the full program on the 18th which will include the Trailer race at the end of the night.

The Faster Pastor 4 Cylinder race will take place on August 25 and the final Summer Holiday Classic race featuring the WDLMA Late Models will close the season on Labor Day weekend, Sunday September 1.


Racing TONIGHT July 21

Sunday July 21 8:45 AM - It looks like a perfect Summer day for a full 5 division racing program on the 1/3 mile banked clay oval at the Seymour Speedway.   

Tonights events are presented by Scott Marcks Tricking and Excavating.

The trailer race has been moved back to August 18. 

The pit opens at 3 PM with late sign in at 5PM.

The grandstand opens at 4 PM.

Racing starts at 6 PM...SHARP!
